Rivers Angels have vowed to maintain their impressive start in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Super Six playoff tournament.
The Port-Harcourt based team posted on their Social Media handle, “We keep fighting till we achieve our dream,” “It was a sweet victory against our noisy neighbours Edo Queens FC on Monday. Three more matches to go, Let’s Go Angels.”
Rivers Angels has secured one win and one draw in the two matches played so far, placing them at the top of the playoff table with four points.
They will face Nasarawa Amazons in their next match today, hoping to continue their strong performance and hold onto their lead in the tournament.
