Super Eagles boss Gernot Rohr says his charges must play the brand of football that will secure a win against Seychelles and also entertain on Saturday.
Ahead of Saturday’s 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group E clash at the Stade Linité, the former Niger Republic boss is fully focused for the game.
The coach is happy with the concentration of his players in training and has asked them not to downplay the threat posed by their opponents in the qualifier for 2019 African Nations Cup.
Rohr says the team’s priority is to secure victory in Roche Caiman.
“I want to see goals, victory, a team playing with motivation,” the Franco-German tactitian told Footballlive.ng.
“The major objective is to see a team that gives joy and entertainnent.
“I want to see goals and players approaching the game with confidence,” the 65-year-old coach continued.
“We must win this game and leave a good impression while also getting the needed three points.”
The Super Eagles will be looking to garner all three points against the Pirates on Saturday to restore their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying campaign back on track following the reverse against South Africa in Uyo on Matchday 1 in June 2017.
