We will not take it likely with them in the return leg – Anthony Abgaji

Date:

The NPFL 2018 champions Lobi stars Fc of markudi unfortunately fell prey to the claws of their Cameroonian rival UMS de Loum at the first CAF preliminary game yesterday in a lone goal defeat.

The just concluded Super Cup winner Lobi stars had its captain Anthony Agbaji on an emotional mood but yet still optimistic for a better result at the return leg.
Speaking exclusively to www.footballlive.ng is the captain of Lobi stars Anthony Agbaji.
We are actually disappointed at our loss, we are not certainly happy about the end result of the match because we deserved to have won the game .
Though it was really unfortunate for us, we were hit unexpectedly by a fluke .
We lost lots of unconverted chances that would have placed us on a higher and better advantage in the log but not withstanding we did our best, but luck did not smile on our path.
We will go back home, and level up areas we fell short of efficiency, like the goal conversion aspect and other vital issues too.
Regarding our opponent UMS mounting pressure on during the match,   i must really say , with what we saw and encountered in the field of play , we were the ones that pressurized them the most, though they got a goal, in my honest reasoning we are the  better side.
The return leg will be quite difficult yes we know, but we are very optimistic about our home game, we are not taking it likely with them at home ,we are coming all out to make sure we grab a qualifier to the next round.
The skillful skipper, concluded by saying  to all our fans at home, they should be rest assured we will make them proud by qualifying for the next in the CAF Champions League.
