We Won’t Give Up Until the Last Day- Shooting Stars Defender

Shooting Stars defender Ayodeji Bamidele has revealed the team’s determination to win the NPFL league title despite trailing the league leaders by 5 points.

The 25-year-old defender emphasized that winning the title would be a remarkable feat for the club and would bring immense joy to their supporters in Ibadan, marking a historic moment since their last triumph in 1998.

“We have one mind all together winning the league.

Such a thing has never happened in Ibadan for a while so it will be something very nice to bring joy to the faces of people in Ibadan”

“The confidence has always been the same way it was from the start. We are not giving up, we are still going to fight til the end.” He added

Currently occupying 4th place on the table, Shooting Stars will face Rivers United on Sunday, June 9th.
