Super Eagles midfielder Mikel Agu shone like a menial star while at Vitoria Setubal two seasons by having an outstanding record of 27 league appearances.

The Nigeria international was on loan at Turkey Lig 1 side Bursaspor last season with compatriot
Shehu Abdullahi but has chosen to remain in Portugal despite several clubs interested in his signature.

Super Eagles midfielder has returned for a second loan spell at Vitoria Setubal on transfer deadline day after he was told he his future at the Portuguese top flight club is not certain.

Agu also revealed that he looks forward to having a fruitful spell on loan and recreating the good memories he shared in his previous stint and thanked the fans for their support.

Speaking on the club official website he went to say The fans knows that when he get on the field it’s to give the maximum and he hopes to help Vitória to make a great season.”

The Nigerian Born midfielder has been given the N0 46 jersey and is in line to make his first appearance for the club in their next fixture after the international break against his parent club Porto on Saturday, September 23.

Former BJ Foundation academy player Benin will hope to replicate the outstanding performance of last two season during his first loan spell with Victoria setubal.
