No show for Kelechi Iheanacho when Leicester City welcomed Manchester City to the King power Stadium, but his teammates carried on their mojo from the Chelsea win and stunned the holders.
Leicester City came from behind to shock Pep Guardiola in a 2-1 win and Wilfred Ndidi was solid for the home team as they climbed to seventh in the League table.
It was the first time the Cityzens had lost back to back competitive games since April – 2-3 vs Man United and 1-2 vs Liverpool in the UCL – but not since 2015 did they lose two consecutive league matches – Crystal Palace 2-1 and Manchester United 4-2.
The Boxing Day thrill for Leicester City started in the 19th minute when Marc Albrighton leveled for the hosts after Bernardo Silva fired City ahead in the 14th minute.
Ricardo Pereira then came up with a spectacular strike to score what turned out to be the winner on 81 minutes.
Wilfred Ndidi played all 90 minutes, but Iheanacho was not even listed in the match day squad.
