World Cup Qualifiers: South Africa Final Squad Set To Be Released

Bafana Bafana head coach, Hugo Broos, will reveal his final squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Zimbabwe on Thursday.

Broos had previously announced a 36-man preliminary squad on May 15.

South Africa will face the Super Eagles in Uyo on Friday, June 7, for their matchday three encounter of the World Cup Qualifiers.

They will then host Zimbabwe at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein on Tuesday, June 11.

Bafana Bafana currently stand second in Group C with three points, while Nigeria is third with two points.

The last meeting between the two teams was in the AFCON semi-finals, where Nigeria triumphed 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regular time.
