Winger Yaro Bature has revealed that he was delighted to link up with Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Kano Pillars, reports Footballlive.ng.
Bature was expected to sign for Rivers United, but the move broke down.
Lobi Stars were also credited with an interest, but it was Kano Pillars that won the race to sign the Nigeria international from Plateau United.
“It was a really long and stressful one but I am here and I want to be here,” Bature revealed in a chat with Footballlive.ng.
“There were a lot of clubs [interested] but I chose Kano Pillars, first of all because of the coach and second of all because of their style of football.
“Kano Pillars have a talented and good team and they scored a lot of goals last season. For me, Pillars played the best football in the NPFL last season and they will continue to play like that next term.”
