Yomi Elijah confident in Eagles trio to deliver

Date:

Former ABS FC and Kogi United head coach, Yomi Elijah is confident that the strike combination of Ahmed Musa, Kelechi Iheanacho and Odion Ighalo will be a formidable force during the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier Group E game against Libya on Saturday.

Musa, Iheanacho and Odion performed well in the Super Eagles last Group game against Seychelles.
Yomi Elijah believes that the trio will continue to thrive during the assignment which lies ahead against the Mediterranean Knights at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
“If you ask me, I think they’ve been doing well. They complement one another well and I don’t see any reason why they can’t lead our attack on Saturday,” Yomi Elijah said in a chat with Footballlive.ng.
“It would be great to see them continue with their goalscoring into the game, but that will all depend on their consistency.”
