Super Eagles number one goalkeeper Francis Uzoho wasn’t listed for action as his club Anorthosis Famagusta drew 0-0 with Omonia Nicosia in Sunday’s Cypriot First Division encounter.
The hosts who didn’t list their Nigerian import for the game failed to utilise chances against their rivals at the Stadio Antonis Papadopoulos (Lárnaka (Larnaca)).
It will be recalled that Uzoho completed a January transfer deadline day temporary switch from Spanish Segunda Division side Deportivo La Coruna to Cyprus, where he will be spending the rest of the 2018/19 campaign in order to gain more game time.
The first half of the ongoing campaign saw him restricted to just seven Spanish Segunda appearances on loan at Elche.
Jurgen Streppel’s side are placed fifth after garnering 34 points from 21 Cypriot top-flight games.
Uzoho has made 13 appearances for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
