Elderson Uwa Echiejile has turned his attention towards offers that have come his way in Belgium and Turkey.

Monaco and Echiejile mutually agreed to part company, ending their association that of four and a half years, thereby leaving him to turn back to interest he had initially snubbed in Belgium and Turkey.

A total of four clubs spread across both countries are in the hunt for his signature, which may now be his saving grace as a free agent, after the principality Ligue 1 outfit disclosed that the left back is no longer their player and wished him the best for his career.

The former Bendel Insurance of Benin City defender began his career in Europe with Stade Rennes of France in 2007 before moving to Sporting Braga of Portugal, where he spent four years.

He played 54 matches for Monaco’s first team, scoring two goals with one assist, but he found first team opportunities hard to come by in his last two seasons at Monaco.

Consequently, he had to be farmed out on loan to Standard Liege of Belgium, Sporting Gijon of Spain, Sivasspor of Turkey and Cercle Brugge of Belgium.
