Eagles Will Prepare Well For Libya Match – Etebo

Date:

Stoke City of England midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has declared that he and his pals in the Super Eagles will prepare very well for next month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya, because they want to take a step close to the championship in Cameroon.

Etebo said they were all happy to beat Seychelles 30 away on Saturday, but admits the job is not yet done, hence their determination to ensure they are fully and adequately prepared to sink the Libyans at home on October 10.

Etebo got off the bench in the second half, as the Eagles got their campaign back on track on Saturday and he says they are happy to overcome the torrid condition of the pitch in Victoria in order to move just one point behind Libya in the group.

With both sides now set to clash in their next match of the race to Cameroon, Etebo says it is important for the Eagles to keep winning, because they have to qualify for AFCON 2019, after missing the past two editions.

Etebo stated: ”It’s an important game, we have won. The turf is really a bad one but thank God all the same we won, we got the points; that is the most important of all.

“Thank God for the victory, we have collected three points. It’s for us to look forward to the next game that is coming up in Nigeria against Libya.

”For sure, not only me, the entire team, we are going to prepare fully well because we need to qualify. We have not gone for two Nations Cup, so it is very important that we need to qualify.”
