The Chairman of the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA), Otunba Tajudeen Akinyemi on behalf of the Agency has congratulated Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, Amaju M. Pinnick and his board on Thursday’s election victory.
Otunba Akinyemi who witnessed the NFF election in Katsina stated that Pinnick’s victory at the poll is an expression of faith and confidence in his leadership by the overwhelming majority of football stakeholders in the country.
“Pinnick’s victory shows that the people truly are convinced and have faith in his leadership. The well conducted election shows we are evolving; free, fair and transparent it was.”
We congratulate the President on his victory, also congratulations to the entire board of the NFF. In the end football has won through the overwhelming voice of the majority at the congress.” Akinyemi said.
Otunba Akinyemi who is the president of Sunshine Stars, Sunshine Queens and Rising Stars was also left impressed by the spirit of sportsmanship display during and after the poll by all the contestants, positing there will be chance to try again in four years time.
