The Russian Premier League game between FC UFA and Rubin Kazan ended in a stalemate on Saturday.
Nigeria international Sylvester Igboun was the lone man upfront for UFA in the 0-0 draw at the Neftyanik Stadium.
He had chances of his own but couldn’t convert for the hosts who needed the win in order to move to a very comfortable spot on the log.
Igboun has bagged three goals for his team in the 2018/19 Russian Premier League.
With the result on Saturday, FC UFA are 13th on the log with 10 points from 11 games.
If they end up the season in this situation, they will be required to feature in the play offs to maintain their top flight status.
