Tammy Poised For Aston Villa January Exit

Date:

Aston Villa’s Nigerian-born striker, Tammy Abraham could be on his way out of Villa park in January, as his parent club, Chelsea aim to sell him in a permanent contract elsewhere.

Footballlive.ng gathered that Chelsea aim to cash in on Tammy’s blistering form, on loan at Villa, and The Blue are thinking of selling him only to another club in the English Premier League.

Chelsea are delighted with Tammy’s good form in the English Championship, with 12 goals in 16 league matches and won the league’s player of the month prize for November 2018.

Villa are currently in England’s lower division and, though they are keen on keeping Tammy till the summer, Chelsea want to get a fat pay day while the striker is on top of his form.

Consequently, Tammy is already being touted in a deal with either of two pending clubs in the Premier League during the January transfer window.

Tammy, who joined Chelsea as an under-eight trainee, has played three games for The Blues’ first team.

He almost joined Newcastle United in the summer of 2017 but it was Swansea City that won the race for his signature.

The Magpies are back in the picture of a possible deal for the striker, but they face competition from Crystal Palace, who have also been linked with another Nigerian-born striker, Dominic Solanke and Victor Moses.
