The head coach of Sporting Lagos, Paul Offor has expressed his excitement at his side’s big win over zonal rivals, Remo Stars. The Lagos based side crushed their opposition 4-1 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
Offor said he was excited and happy with the performance of the team. He said:
“Excited. I’m very happy about the performance. The boys gave it their all and they got the result and I’m very happy for them”.
Speaking about the team’s current new found form, he mentioned that the desire to make the fans proud is a factor behind the development. He said:
“To keep going up, to keep winning our matches to keep fighting for this club that we all love so much and make the fans proud”
The gaffer rounded up by commenting about their next game which sees them go away to Niger Tornadoes. He mentioned that their opponents would not be easy but they will prepare for the away trip.
Offor said:
“Yeah well, we know it’s a very difficult game against the Tornadoes because they picked three points in their last game. And we know that it’s going to be very difficult, so we are going to prepare for it and hopefully we are able to get points”
