Flying Eagles Seek Redemption Against South Sudan in African Games

Date:

After a disappointing 2-1 loss to Uganda’s Hippos in their opening game, Nigeria’s Flying Eagles aim for redemption as they face South Sudan in their second Group B encounter at the 13th African Games.

Ladan Bosso’s team needs a victory against the debutants to revive their hopes of progressing to the semi-finals.

The match, scheduled at the Accra Sports Stadium, marks the first-ever meeting between Nigeria and South Sudan at any level. With South Sudan also coming off a 1-0 defeat to Senegal, both teams are eager to secure a crucial win in the competition.
