Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Tuesday led the way in celebrating the birthday of former Super Eagles captain, Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha, with the soccer governing body noting how much he contributed to the team’s success during his active days.
The NFF stated further in a glowing citation for the ex-Eintracht Frankfurt of Germany, Fenerbahce of Turkey, PSG of France and Bolton Wanderers of England star that he was a ‘football magician’ during his heyday.
The birthday accolades rolling for ‘The Emperor’ from The Glasshouse also noted that he brought fond memories for all Nigerians through his exploits in the round leather game.
The NFF tweeted: “Happy birthday to the one and only football magician @IAmOkocha. Thank you for the memories and have a good one.”
