Abdulrahman proud of hard fighting Kogi Unuted

Coach Tunde Abdulrahman was pleased with his Kogi United side, as they scored an 78th minute goal to defeat bundle out Niger Tornadoes in the Aiteo Cup round of 32.

The former Wikki Tourists and Kwara United gaffer was full of praise for his team after securing the their passage to the group stage of the competition.
“I feel very happy with our victory and qualification to the next round, I thank my players for the way they approached the game, Tornadoes gave us a tough time but we really brace up to match them especially in the second half.
“I’m happy for Enesi for scoring the important goal, he’s really improving by the games and I’m confident he has great future ahead of him.
“I think just like other teams, we have a chance to make it to the final, I’m confident we can achieve it, if we can play like this and beat Tornadoes, I think we what it takes, I’ve done that before with Katsina United on two occasions and will to do that again,” Abdulrahman said.
