Thomas Adeshina has reflected on Lobi Stars form in a the 2018 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, with the player excited but coy on what it could mean.
The Pride of Benue are on top of the log with 43 points after 24 matches, prompting discussion of how far Solomon Ogbeide’s side can go.
“In the business part of the season is where you will see our aspirations,” Adeshina reflected in a chat with Footballlive.ng.
“Everyone at Lobi is looking at the table and are happy to be ahead of the chasing park.”
“The League has great teams and teams like Lobi Stars want to compete and match the opposition. We want to do something great.
“But every game is different, against some teams that we do not know and against teams from different parts of the country,” he added.
