Nigeria midfielder Uche Agbo was an unused substitute in Standard Liege’s 1-1 draw with Genk on Sunday.
The former Granada player was named in the matchday squad but couldn’t play a part in the Belgian top tier battle at the
Stade Maurice Dufrasne.
Razvan Marin was rather the preferred choice at central midfield where Agbo has thrived in the 2018/19 season.
Mbwana Samata put the visitors in front in the 84th minute before Christian Luyindama equalised at the dying moments.
Standard Liege are sixth on the ladder with 20 points from 12 games and 10 points adrift leaders Genk.
