Boluspor winger, Chukwuma Akabueze has rallied for support to his former club Kwara United in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Kwara United are currently placed 15th in the NPFL table.
Akabueze who had a productive stint at Kwara United before seeking a move abroad has tipped the Harmony Boys to beat the drop at the end of the season.
“I follow the progress of Kwara United from my base in Turkey. They struggled initially but have picked up in their recent games,” Akabueze told Footballlive.ng.
“With determination, focus and dedication the team should survive and retain their status in the top division in Nigeria.
The former Flying Eagles left dazzler outlined Boluspor’s targets for the 2018/19 season.
“We qualified for the play offs but couldn’t make it. We have shrugged off the disappointments and want to start a new chapter.
“Promotion to the Super Lig is our major priority. This club belongs to the top, we are ready to claim what rightfully belongs to us,” he posited.
