Defender Jamiu Alimi firmly believes that Akwa United have what it takes to finish on the ‘front row’ this season.
The Super Eagles defender is a regular member of the Promise Keepers in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) campaign.
Akwa United currently lie second in the NPFL, just two points behind League leaders after 24 matches this season.
Speaking to Footballlive.ng, Alimi said: “We will stay in the top places in the table until the end.”
“Akwa United is a team of hardworking and brilliant personnel capable of achieving a lot.
“The team is well grounded to win the NPFL title which is a realistic target.
