Nigerian young midfielder, Ameer Suleiman, has signed with Croatian second-division club, Nogometni Klub Rudeš, from Lagos-based Ojodu City FC.
Nicknamed ‘Kaka,’ the 18-year-old stood-out during the 2024 Viareggio tournament in Italy, where he helped his team reach the semi-finals before losing to the eventual winners and Nigerian team, Beyond Limits Football Academy.
Auwal’s standout performances aided and led to his move to Croatia.
He joins the like of Salim Fago Lawal and Isreal Ayuma, who plays in the Croatian Football League, and club side, NK Istra 1961.
Ammeer Suleiman started his football journey on the streets of Kano. He now aims for bigger opportunities in Europe, with hopes of playing for Barcelona in the future.
