Caykur Rizespor forward Aminu Umar believes his teammates need to look forward and not back if they are to rediscover their best form.
The Turkish Super Liga side are under scrutiny after Friday’s 0-0 draw with Erzurum BB and it appeared to confirm that they team is on a downward curve.
“We must think about the future and try to be focused,” the former Wikki Tourists forward told Footballlive.ng.
“Playing a goalless draw with Erzurum hurts, but we must stay united. Being on two points is not a tragedy.
“We are on course on all fronts and we hope our season will take off at the right time.”
Aminu Umar is on a season-loan to Rizespor from Osmanlispor.
