Chelsea youth team player, Faustino Anjorin set tongues wagging on Saturday, as he struck a wonder goal that helped his snatch an away win.
Footballlive.ng gathered that Anjorin was the lad to shout about after the encounter, as his goal helped The Blues Youth move up to third in the U18 Premier League standings with 16 points.
Though Anjorin entered the game in the 68th minute, he was able to make his mark in his side’s 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove at American Express Elite Football Performance Centre.
The game was deadlocked until the 76th minute, when Anjorin gave the visitors the lead with a brilliant strike from 25 yards out.
The England U18 international, who has scored some eye-catching goals for club and country this season, has drawn comparisons with ex-Manchester City star, Yaya Toure due to his box-to-box abilities.
The hosts had Nigerian-born right-back, Ayo Tanimowo on for 90 minutes of the encounter, while Anjorin’s latest goal against Brighton is his sixth in all matches so far this season, but Jordan Aina was not in Chelsea’s match day squad.
