Osimhen Glad To Continue Marvelous Run Of Goals

Charleroi of Belgium summer signing, Victor Osimhen is relishing his continued run of goals scoring form since joining the club on loan from VfL Wolfsburg of Germany, as he again struck in the Belgian league on Friday.

Osimhen admitted it was another happy outing for him, and footballlive.ng can report that the youngster is eager to continue going full blast.

Osimhen asserted as much on social media, as he celebrated his effort that gave his side victory in the Belgian First Division A.

This comes after Osimhen made it three goals in four games for Charleroi, but could not prevent his team from slipping to a 2-1 loss away to Elderson Uwa Echiejile’s former team, Cercle Brugge.

Osimhen was on for 90 minutes, and hit target in the 32nd minute of the game, but an effort from De Belder and an own goal by Javi Martos won it for Cercle Brugge.

Also on song, this time in Turkey, Emem Samuel Eduok scored twice to help Kasimpasa beat Göztepe 3-1 at home.

Eduok’s first strike from inside the area gave Kasimpasa the lead in the 21st minute and he got his brace two minutes after the restart from an assist by Mahmoud Trézéguet.

In Russia, Sylvester Emeka Igbonu (Sly) also scored for the second successive game and his effort helped FC Ufa get a 1-1 draw against Arsenal Tula.

‘Sly’ curled the ball beyond Tula’s goalkeeper in the second minute of first half stoppage time to help Ufa stay undefeated in their last three games in the Russian Premier League, and 13th in the standings with nine points.
