Balogun Declares War On Chelsea, Expects Victory

Date:

Brighton & Hove Albion defender, Leon Aderemi Balogun has declared war on Chelsea, his team’s opponents in this weekend’s English Premier League fixture, and says he is thinking only of victory.

Revealing his thoughts ahead of Sunday’s match at American Express Community Stadium, Balogun believes home advantage will play a key role in ensuring his sid wins against their visitors from London.

Balogun, who footballlive.ng recalls recently made history with a quick goal off the bench as a substitute and looks to have regained his place in the squad, is also looking ahead to playing in the encounter.

Of the five Premier League matches Balogun has been involved, Brighton have lost twice to Liverpool and most recently Burnley while they beat Manchester United, Huddersfield and Crystal Palace.

Balogun also pointed out that Brighton beat Manchester United in a similar crunch tie back in August, as he stressed that The Seagulls will upset the five-time EPL champs.

”They’re expected to win against a side like us and no-one is expecting anything other than a victory for Chelsea.

”The most they’ll expect from us is that we’ll give them a hard game and still not get anything from it, which takes a lot of pressure away from us.

”We beat Man United at home, and shows that we’re capable of beating a top team,” Balogun concluded.
