Former Flying Eagles winger Chukwuma Akabueze has expressed his confidence that Boluspor can play themselves out of the difficult situation they are currently in.
The Bolu outfit have dropped to fourth on standings as a consequence of a recent dip in form, which has seen them bow to three straight defeats.
However, their Nigerian import believes that they can improve matters.
“Teams go through good and bad patches, but it’s crucial now that we work as hard as we can to improve,” Akabueze commented to Footballlive.ng.
“We are capable of getting out of our current situation. It’s not a psychological problem, we’re a very close-knit team.
“We need to regain the same level of intensity we had at the start of the season. We’re working hard and are a very tight group, which is crucial in order to move forward.
“[Week 15 opponents] Hatayspor are good all-rounders who manage the ball well and are very dangerous upfront. We want to defeat them and will make it a reality on Sunday.”
