Despite being behind Libya and South Africa in Group E of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, Coach Ladan Bosso has told Footballlive.ng in a confident mood that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will participate in the competition to be hosted by Cameroon.
“The result achieved in Seychelles is a great one for the Super Eagles. It was a tough game, the boys kept focus and worked hard,” Bosso told Footballlive.ng.
“The boys know what is at stake and as long as they keep working and our focus, they will be in Cameroon.”
Bosso stated that all the technical crew need to do is to continue with the momentum they have against Libya and the needed objective will be achieved.
“The next two games against Libya will be difficult. All the boys need to do is to maintain the momentum and consistency.”
“I don’t think the Libyans can stop our boys.”
