Enyimba International largely had Theophilus Afelokhai to thank for yet another amazing away result in the CAF Confederation Cup following the barren draw in Rwanda against Rayon Sports.
Enyimba International defender, Ifeanyi Anaemena who despite his obvious disappointment at not being selected to lead the team was very happy and delighted that his team secured a very vital result in Rwanda.
Speaking exclusively to www.footballlive.ng Anaemena said, “I feel so great about the outcome of the match and i want to give all thanks to God despite not being selected to captain the team for this match.“
The Enyimba Defender went on to say the focus of the team had already been shifted to the second leg as the sole ambition is a place in the Semi-Finals which can only be achieved by working hard and preparing right.
“By God’s grace we on the right track of victory come next week because we are steadfastly determined as a team to grab the three points in the return leg against our opponent” he concluded.
