Coach Imama Amapakabo Satisfied With Progress To AITEO Cup Group Stage; Backs His Team To Improve

El-Kanemi Warriors had to scrap there way past the Katsina United FC Feeder team into the AITEO Cup group stage by a late lone goal scored by Samuel Mathias.

A satisfied Coach Imama Amapakabo speaking to www.footballive.ng the game said, “Most importantly today we needed to get a victory which we were able to get as for some time now, we have not been playing games which I think is a big problem.”

On what the team ambitions going into the match were, he said, “Today the sole goal was to get to the group stage and thankfully we were able to achieve this so we can only improve from here

Coach Imama went on to describe his AITEO Cup Round of 32 opposition as an ordinary team with nothing fantastic who were only privileged to be playing active football at the moment as compared to his team who are yet to play a proper match in almost three months.

The soon to be announced Chief Coach of the Super Eagles concluded by saying he was satisfied to get to the group stages with his players in this year AITEO Cup.
