Date:

On Thursday, per Gianluca Di Marzio [Sky SPorts Italia], broke the long awaited news of the sack of the Premier League and FA Cup winning Manager, two years after.

Di Marzio Tweeted: #Conte sacked from @ChelseaFC (info @MaxNebuloni) @SkySport @SkySportsNews

Former SSC Napoli Boss, Maurizio Sarri is likely to be the successor to his country man’s position, but he too has not been confirmed, YET.

However, the club’s fans have been quick to react to the news with a very balanced preferences on both sides – on Twitter.

Here are a few of the comments:

@GiuPol4 : If you think sarry is better than Conte, you understand NOTHING. Save this tweet, we’ll see in may

@smith_hushtag : You can sign Conte to manage your home if you think he’s good

@murphy260597 ???????????????????????? :Sack a manager who wins 2 major trophies in his 2 seasons, thats Chelsea for you !

@browneskin84 : Easy to be a fan on outside looking in, but as a fan who goes to games the guy was shocking! Stubborn, wouldn’t change team, fought with board and players! He couldn’t continue

@Chuksoke1 : Nice One. As a Chelsea fan,I was a fan of conte when he came but things changed the moment he messaged Costa that he was no longer needed and chased @DavidLuiz_4 out of the team. I have been waiting to hear the news of his sacking. He made me miss Chelsea games last season

@princea79 : ope ooo… glory be to God

@Yemmm8 : I dont know why Chelsea board are like this
