Nigerian forward, Chidera Ejuke is determined to help Sevilla climb back to the top of Spanish football. After a disappointing season where Sevilla finished 14th in LaLiga, the club is looking to rebuild.
Ejuke, who signed on a free transfer, is the first major addition to their squad this summer.
The 26 year-old joined Sevilla on a three-year contract after leaving Russian club CSKA Moscow.
Speaking on his commitment to contributing to the team’s success, Chidera Ejuke said “The club has won lots of trophies in the past years,” Ejuke said on Sevilla’s official website.
“They are a big club with high ambitions, always wanting to be on top and competing for trophies.”
He added, “With the quality of players in the team and with my arrival, I know we can do what it takes to get the club back to where it should be.”
Known for their success in European competitions, Sevilla hopes that Ejuke’s addition will help them improve their league performance and compete for major titles again.
