Rave of the moment, Samuel Chukwueze has outlined his respect for tonight’s opponents Rapid Wien, but admits the sooner Villarreal secure qualification, the better.
The Yellow Submarine can have a foot in the UEFA Europa League Round of 32 on Thursday night with a win in their Group G match at the Allianz Stadion against Rapid Wien.
“It’s going to be an interesting game. We are facing a very difficult team with so much determination,” considered Samuel Chukwueze to Footballlive.ng.
“Rapid Wien have more difficulties than us in the group – this is a chance for us to go close to qualification and the sooner you get that, the better.
“We are unbeaten in the group, which is good for our confidence. A win for us on Thursday will boost our morale. We are ready to go for the three points in the away fixture.
Chukwueze paid tribute to his compatriots in the Villarreal team.
“It’s a very competitive side.”
“They are great players, fast and intelligent. I’m lucky to have played with players like these at the developmental stage of my career.”
