Head coach of Katsina United, Abdullahi Biffo spoke to www.footballive.ng immediately after his team’s 3-1 victory over Kwara United to book a place in the 2018 AITEO Cup Semifinal place.
He told footballlive. “I want to salute my boys who fought hard, playing to instructions and held up their strength through out on the field of play.”
He went on to say his team are determined to win the cup and are only two matches away from a historic moments.
He said, “I want to win the cup as a coach and my boys do not have a better opportunity to tell the world that the fifth position on the NPFL log before the end of the season was no fluke.”
He added, “It is the football team from my state and I feel sorry that we met at this stage of the competition but I am a professional and delivering on my job remains my first priority.”
The former Kwara United assistant coach concluded by saying his team were ready for any opposition in the 2018 AITEO Cup semifinal.
