Date:

El-kanemi Warriors Technical Adviser and Super Eagles Coach, Imama Amapakabo as called on his players to work harder in protecting the team’s defense if they are to overcome a first match defeat and progress to the AITEO Cup Quarterfinals.

Coach Imama who spoke to www.foitballive.ng on his assessment of his team’s first AITEO Cup said, “We did our best but it wasn’t on for us today, we attacked our opponent very well and we had our own fair share of the game.”

“We battle with the slippery pitch but most importantly we didn’t protect our defense well enough so this made us porous at the back and our opponent capitalized to secure a victory.” He added

Coach Imama went on to say he and his team had noted their mistakes and have worked on them as he promised fans that they would see an improved performance against Sunshine Stars FC on Wednesday because winning was non-negotiable.
