The Manchester United WhatsApp platform is typically used for sending vital information to first-team players by manager Erik ten Hag and staff.

Sancho’s isolation has been ongoing, with a ban on training with the senior squad and using their facilities, including the canteen.

Even his food is now taken to the academy section, where he changes in a separate dressing room.

This latest development follows the winger’s suspension, which began when he was left out of the squad for a September match against Arsenal.

Jadon Sancho took to social media to contest the claim that his training wasn’t up to par, and the situation escalated further when the expected apology didn’t arrive.

The ongoing standoff has seen the 23 year-old’s senior appearances limited to just three Premier League games this season.
