Emenike Future XI tournament hits round of 16 stage.

Hostilities will resume on Wednesday in the round of 16 at the ongoing Emmanuel Emenike’s Future XI tournament in Lagos after all group matches where concluded in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The talent scouting tournament which began on Friday December 7 at the national stadium Surulere, Lagos has witnessed the best of football artistery with former Nigerian internationals including Emmanuel Emenike and other renowned scouts watching the football showpiece at the Legacy and NIS pitches of the national stadium in Lagos.

Chairman organizing committee of the championship Uche Ugwu has stated that the competition has been fair and void o any irregularities. “As you can see the organisation has been top notch, the referees have been free and have done their jobs well. The club’s have been cooperative and now we are waiting for another set of fantastic games in the round of 16.

The sponsor of the tournament Emmanuel Emenike has been true to his word. He has always been around to see the games and access the players himself an yes I am certain he has seen lots of players in this competition.”

The round of 16 matches will be decided on Wednesday December 12 at the Legacy and NIS pitches of the national stadium Lagos.
