Las Palmas of Spain midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo is hopeful of making the Super Eagles’ list to this year’s World Cup and end up with a glorious outing at Russia 2018, in order to get a huge summer transfer deal.
This much has been revealed by the player’s agent, who says Etebo should be on his way out of relegated Malaga in the summer, and a brilliant outing in Russia would shore up his value, but equally admits that they will also need consent from the player’s parent club, CD Feirense of Portugal.
However, this comes at a point reports indicate that Etebo has been ruled out of Las Palmas’ last away match of the season against Eibar at Estadio Municipal de Ipurúa on Saturday.
He has not been able to participate in training due to a muscular discomfort ahead of the trip to the Basque Country and it is all but confirmed that he will not be named in Las Palmas provisional roster.
Etebo, though, is expected to resume full training with Las Palmas early next week and hopes to make himself available for selection against Girona a week on Saturday.
