National Teams Finidi, Oliseh others Jostle for Super Eagles Head Coach Position By: Adebanjo Date: March 13, 2024 The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has been inundated with over 100 applications for the vacant position of Super Eagles head coach. This announcement comes after the NFF declared a vacancy in the Super Eagles head coach role following Jose Peseiro’s contract expiration. According to sources, a diverse pool of coaches have expressed written interest in the job. Among the applicants are Emmanuel Amuneke, Sunday Oliseh, and Finidi George; one of Peseiro’s former assistants. Others include Daniel Amokachi, Ndubuisi Egbo, Salisu Yusuf, and Portuguese coach Antonio Conceicao.
