Only four matches stand between Enyimba International and the CAF Confederation Cup following a resounding second leg victory over Rayon Sports FC of Rwanda and CHAN Eagles midfielder, Dare Ojo has backed his team to do what need to be done to win their first ever CAF Confederation Cup.
Speaking to www.footballive.ng after the match, he said, “Today was a great game for my team as we won with a big margin which shows we are improving as the tournaments is progressing.”
Ojo said he and his teammates are now looking to wrap up the match against Raja Casablanca as early as possible to avoid unnecessary jittery which almost cost them a CAF Confederation Cup semi final ticket.
He went on to say the players didn’t have choice than to give their best in front of the home fans and Governor who was the brain behind Enyimba’s return to the Aba township stadium.
The CHAN Eagles then used the opportunity to call on his teammates to remain focused as they try to surpass the achievements of the 2003 and 2004 sets of players led by Vincent Enyeama.
The former kwara United engine room concluded by saying the match against Raja Casablanca of Morocco would be a difficult tie but he believes with God Enyimba International would win.
