Gavin Jeanne: We don’t fear Nigeria

Date:

Seychelles entertains Nigeria in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday.

The Pirates will battle it out with the Super Eagles at the 10,000 capacity stadium, Stade Linité situated at Roche Caiman in the outskirts of Victoria on Saturday.
Manager Gavin Jeanne sees his team’s second match in Group E as a very tough one for both sides.
“Definitely this is going to be a tough game for both sides,” Gavin Jeanne told Footballlive.ng.
“We both lost in our first group games and this means Seychelles and Nigeria have equal chances. We know well that Nigeria are tough and one of the continent’s greatest teams, but we do have our chance. We can achieve a positive result to defeat them.”
Gavin Jeanne said Nigeria is a great team, but not an undefeatable one.
“Nigeria is one of Africa’s biggest teams. But we don’t fear them; we can beat them.”
“Everyone is focused and ready and we’ll play to win. Nigeria will enter the game under pressure as they must win; a positive draw is in our favour. This means the pressure is going to be on them, not us”.
Seychelles against Nigeria kicks off on Saturday at 1:30pm.
