Gor Mahia of Kenya’s coach, Hassan Oktay has confessed that one key aspect he will watch out for in the CAF Champions League first round, second leg match against Lobi Stars of Makurdi is remarkable fighting spirit from the Nigerian team, footballlive.ng reports.
In spite of his side’s apparent dominant outing in the first leg played on Sunday in Nairobi, Kenya, the Turkish gaffer said Lobi Stars gave his side a tough run for their victory and admitted they must not be written off.
Oktay admitted that Lobi Stars will be dangerous to hold in the return leg in Enugu, but vowed that Gor Mahia will prepare well in order to be able to handle the Nigerians.
He added: “We must now prepare well for the return leg because they can hit us back at their own backyard.
“They have a very good fighting spirit and now that they will be playing in front of their fans.
“They will definitely be dangerous to handle. We must get ready and also strive to even win away.”
