Great reactions from my boys. Coach paul Aigbogun

Date:

The U 20 national team yesterday proved themselves worthy against criticism,as they procead to the semi finals of the U 20 WAFU Cup by beating Ghana 4-2 to qualify.

The flying Eagles rose high above the Ghanaians after being down with a goal in the first half, the boys gave a impressive fight in the match .

Speaking to www.footballlive.ng is the head coach of the U 20 coach Paul Aigbogun

First of all we thank God for the game, the players did very well knowing fully well that Nigeria against Ghana is always a tough match, it was not an easy task i must say.

At the first 45 minutes of the game, when our opponent scored their first goal, you could actually see that the team increased the fighting spirit to maximum level to equalise.

Though, our team had lots new players so it took them a little bit of time fro them to get acquainted .

But we saw some good qualities, great reactions from them yesterday especially when they were a goal down against Ghana.

We are happy for the win, we will take one game at a time, we are moving up on to next game, which is coming up on Friday against Mali .We pray to God that we will be able work harder than before to come out victorious and make Nigeria proud as well.

The U 20 gaffer concluded by saying ,we want all Nigerians to support and prayers for us ahead of the next match.

Nigeria are now number one on the log with 4 points, followed by Niger Republic .
