Akwa United central midfielder Ifeanyi Ifeanyi has expressed joy that his colleagues in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) have been invited to be part of the Super Eagles team flying to Monrovia for an international friendly with the Liberia national team on Tuesday.
Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Adeleye Olamilekan, Mfon Udoh, Sunday Adetunji and Ebube Duru are part of the Eagles contingents travelling to Monrovia on Tuesday morning for the tune up game.
“It is a thing of joy for every player in the NPFL,” Ifeanyi Ifeanyi began in a chat with Footballlive.ng
“I can also vouch for them to perform well in the game. They will be good ambassadors of the league.
The match is in celebration of Liberian President, former World Footballer of the Year George Oppong Weah, and is scheduled for Tuesday evening at the 35,000-capacity Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex.
