Isaac Success Eager To Build On Four Minutes

Date:

Watford striker, Isaac Success has downplayed any talk about frustration on his part, after playing only the last four minutes of his  side’s English Premier League fixture this past weekend.

Raher than feel slighted, footballlive.ng learnt that Success is eager to build on the time played, and wants to work harder in training before Wednesday’s next match.

Success is targeting an instant change of fortune than what he faced this past Saturday in East London, as goals from Troy Deeney and Gerard Deulofeu gave Watford a 2-0 victory against West Ham United.

Success kept his record of being involved in every single game contested by The Hornets this season after he was introduced in the 86th minute.

Also this past weekend in London, Arsenal’s new kid on the block, 17-year-old Bukayo Saka was in the match day squad for a Premier League fixture for the first time in his career.

He, however, did not get any minute of action for The Gunners, who hit visiting Bournemouth 3-1, with Alex Iwobi netting the last goal.

Same evening, Southampton got a 3-1 win against Huddersfield Town at John Smith’s Stadium, with Michael Obafemi netting The Saints’ last goal of the encounter.

Nathan Redmond and Danny Ings scored to give the Saints a 2-0 lead at the interval, Philip Billing halved the deficit in the 58th minute before Obafemi scored his first senior goal six minutes after going on.
