At the patami stadium Gombe,  former Nigeria youth international Sunday Abe who happens to be the captain of sunshine of Akure after their first away victory of the season against Wikki tourist that ended 1-0 in favour of Sunshine stars.

He said, it was a tough match, both teams were prepared to achieve their set goals which was to grab the three points.
I am super excited because it played out for us  and give all the glory to God for the victory attained yesterday.
I really appreciate the effort of the whole team,   we told ourselves we are going to make it and it happened for us.
 With such win, i am confident that the team would secure a continental ticket at the end of the season he concluded.
