Iwobi and Bassey head to Super Eagles camp after Fulham Win

Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi saw action for 80 minutes in Fulham’s 3-1 win over newcomers Sheffield United at Craven cottage as he started the game while country-man, Calvin Bassey was introduced in the 71st minute.

Iwobi had a fairly good game against the Blades but struggled a little bit in trying to influence the game.

The midfielder touched the ball 48 times and completed 35 out of 42 passes making up a total percentage of 83%.

He also made two key passes in the game and attempted 4 long balls, won two ground duels of the four he attempted.

On the other hand, Calvin Bassey came in to stabilize the game and manage the result as well as replace an injured Issa Diop.

He did the job pretty well as he won a tackle, touched the ball 23 times, recorded an accurate passing of 85%, won two ground duels of the two he attempted.
