Iwobi Begs Ramsey To Stay At Arsenal

Date:

Arsenal attacker, Alex Iwobi has sent out a passionate appeal to one of his teammates, Aaron Ramsey to stay put at the club, footballlive.ng can report.

In the face of rising speculation that Ramsey is on his way out of Emirates Stadium in January, Iwobi said it would be a big miss for him and the club.

Iwobi recalled his early days at Arsenal, in which he says Ramsey was one of his big motivators, and he would love to continue seeing the legend around the team.

Ramsey, who joined Arsenal in 2008, has made 339 appearances for the North London club in all competitions, scoring 59 goals and notching 59 assists in the process.

However, Ramsey’s future at The Gunners is up in the air, after a recent failed contract extension move, and the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United have been credited with interest in the 27-year-old.

The Italian duo of Juventus and AC Milan as well as Real Madrid of Spain are also reportedly monitoring Ramsey’s situation.

In the midst of it all, Iwobi has now sent an appeal to the skillful Wales international, as hopes to stop the star from making a departure from Emirates Stadium in the January transfer window.

”He’s a great player. When I was breaking into the first team, I always used to watch and learn things for him. I am still doing that today.

“It would be a great miss if he goes but hopefully he can stay. We all want him to stay. Hopefully it can get sorted,” Iwobi declared.
